Reflection
Upon hearing about this photography project I was a bit intimidated. To me, being able to properly capture a person, a mood, an idea, and an environment is very important in promoting human connection. The biggest challenge I faced was coming up with realistic ideas and then figuring out how to successfully execute them. Time constraints and scheduling were other challenges I faced during this project. I dealt with these challenges by giving myself enough time to map out my ideas and to work around the time barriers. At the moment, I am just satisfied with the deliverable images. I think I did the best with the time and resources I had access to. I am particularly proud of my portraits because my subjects were very cooperative and I feel like I was able to properly portray them in their everyday environments. I believe if I had more time and access to a wide variety of people and items, I would’ve been more satisfied with my images. Overall, I learned a lot about myself and my abilities during this project.
